There’s so much to arrange and think about, it can be OVERWHELMING!
For those of you that don’t know me, my Name is Shane Varney, I’m a local father of 4 young Children, and after having a NIGHTMARE experience arranging my sons Special Birthday Party 11 years ago, I decided to set up my own Party Business!
I couldn’t believe how STRESSFUL and DIFFICULT it was to arrange everything, tick all the boxes and keep everyone HAPPY and...... when it came around to the party itself I just couldn’t enjoy it because...
I’d spent countless hours re searching local venues. Having it at home was a concern because of the WEATHER!
I’d made 17 phone calls arranging a suitable venue! Which took me 2 weeks having to wait for Doreen at the local church hall to get back to me. Then to tell me they couldn’t accommodate me because of “book club”
With new Venue found, back onto it
BUT THEN.........
I'd spent hours on the internet shopping for invites, plates, cups at Napkins £82.50
I had to go shopping for the food!
I had to prepare and cook the food!
I had to transport the food to the venue, work out a way to keep it warm, and the chilled food cold!
Well I thought that’s just apart of it, so... “Just get on with it Shane” , until my NEXT concern...
HOW STRESSFUL...
Would the bouncy castle guy turn up
What if it rained and no one would come
Would the soft play package I ordered turn up
Would my invites, cups napkins etc turn up on time
I Felt bad because I had to call in Family members and friends to help with the food and setting everything up.
CELEBRATING YOUR CHILDS BIRTHDAY should be a HAPPY time right?
But what about the Adult guests???
There was no where they could get refreshments, so I had to bring them in myself!
PARTY DONE...... BUT.....
Now time to clean up
25 kids, cheese sandwiches, party poppers, a nice carpet and hoovering Don’t go well together
An hour and a half later we’d done
Total cost In excess of £700

I’ve gotta do that 3 more times this year
NO WAY!
I thought it’s got to be the same for EVERYONE right?
